I think our paths have crossed before. An honest piece of writing which I can whole-heartedly relate to. I wish you well and hope you push away those dark clouds and figure stuff out. Baking cakes is just as interesting as photography to me, so if you'll allow me, I'll stick around. 🙏🏼

I have told you many times in the past, that as well as having a talent as a photographer, you have a gift of the use of words, and this was shown in the two or three books that you produced. I feel sure that this new venture/vlog or frog, whatever, will prove to be successful. Cheers n love .GDJ x

Ramblings are good and glad you dusting off the imaginary pen and jotting down thoughts. You've tickled my fancy about doing the same and look forward to more thoughts and perusings!

You are one of the people who has inspired me John along with Robert Macfarlane .. his lost words book illustrated by Jackie Morris everyone should own infact I own all his books and hers too .. your work accompanied by your thoughts how wonderful would that be .. taking people on an adventure with words and your “art photos” people have been telling me for years I need to write a book and I haven’t although I have written over 50 poems with silly little paintings to accompany them and they they sit so I am a right one to talk . I shall follow you with the greatest interest as I already do on Facebook .

I like the gentle rumblings of your brain buddy. Hopefully one day we can make a bit of noise together again.

Hang in there buddy. I agree you’re a fantastic photographer, I’m yet to try your baking, but historically your musical noodlings appealed too.

Big love brother 🥰

I wrote something profound in support, but with the piss-farting around with the app and the log-in on my phone and now here on my computer, it's lost forever. Technology. I look forward to your musings however infrequent they might be.

Hang in there Jon, I stack shelves at Waitrose, teach Gcse photography at a special needs school and teach adults on 10 week courses, if I wasn’t teaching I don’t think I’d be able to call myself a photographer as I don’t feel I’ve produced anything worthwhile, series wise not individual shots, in more than 3 years. I’ll be up in Cley next the sea in early may, perhaps I could hire you for half a day if that’s local for you, be well and stay safe

Hey Seamus. Thanks for replying. I really appreciate it. You most certainly are a photographer my frIend, though I completely relate to the point about the last three years as I have felt much the same, it is only recently that i have become happy with my images again. Do give me a shout if you are about in NN. J
